The production company unafilm, as the award winner of the first Eisvogel Film Prize, had undertaken to produce the TV crime thriller "Tatort Dortmund - Greed and Fear" in accordance with the rules of the producers' association for sustainable film production.

"In all trades, especially in transport, equipment, energy, materials and catering as well as in the avoidance of plastic and waste, low-emission and comprehensively sustainable work was carried out. This consistently environmentally conscious approach convinced the jury and so the choice of the prizewinner was unanimous", says Michael Beier, spokesman for the jury and chairman of the board of the Heinz Sielmann Foundation, explaining the jury's decision.
